2004 Annerversary Package GT with 21000 miles
My GT Convertible may be for sale, if my wife and I agree on the issue. A few days ago I hit a runaway horse that totaled my 48000 mile 5th ave. I was hardly injured. My line of thinking is now clouded as to what would have happened if I had the convertible.
Anyway the car is Crimson red and Arizona beige. The last Show I attended in Sept., The car won First place in its Class. I have not driven it since the accident. These moodels are hard to find. My question is, anyone out in Mach 1 land looking for one of these beautiful Mustangs???? It will not be priced low. I always price high and usually get what I ask due to the super condition the cars are in. Just being honest.. Bob in Maine |

Re: 2004 Annerversary Package GT with 21000 miles
Sorry to hear about you hitting the horse but maybe you should give it some time before selling. A few years back during a storm there was an accident during a very windy storm and a huge tree limb broke off and landed on the roof of a pickup truck. Both people inside were killed instantly. Being in a convertible would not of made a difference. You hit a horse and thank God nobody was hurt other than the horse. Do you think this could ever happen to you again, I doubt it. Your Mustang is a special 40th anniversary Crimson Red Vert which was the special color for the 40th anniversary of the 2004 Mustang. If you do decide to sell good luck with the sale. I'm partial to this car seeing I have owned the same bought new in Feb. of 04. It had about 90000 miles when I traded for the Mach.

Thanks for your sincere advises.. I do have to be more positive , but it may take time. I would still have my Mach if I sold the convertible, but we do enjoy the convertible in the summer...

If it was me, I'd keep it. You'll probably want it back after it's gone. Why take the chance. Unless you REALLY need to sell it.

Hard to believe someone is advertising a 40th annv. and it is an actual 40th annv. car!!! Love the Crimson red.

I do not have a digital camera, but thanks anyway. 4Vfury, I saw an ad in the local paper the other day for a 40th annerversary convertible, thought I would go look, yeh you were right, not a 40th.... He did not know the difference... He said "Well it had a badge right on the side"
