Who cancel Saturday Night dinner. (Carlisle)

My wife and I went to Snapper restaurant saturday night at 6 o'clock for the annual Carlisle dinner and nobody showed. So the joke was on us.

Maybe everyone got lost?? I'm sure they all had a good reason Tom! Out of 14 people or so, someone would have made it. They had to be side tracked by something. Hopefully, everything is all alright.

Well, you got to have a nice quiet dinner with your wife anyways!

Between the 7 liter group and us there was enough food for BBQ Part Duex so somewhere along the line it was decided to do that.

Guess you shouldn't have sold the Mach, then you would have known. Just kidding of course. Sorry you didn't know.

It's always a good time with this group. Hard to stop laughing at times.

As far as rain goes, everyday so far. Tonight was just a shower so it felt good. Thursday we had some T-storms that dumped some serious rain and last night got a little wicked. Dave has some really cool shots of the lightning.

I would think after all these years Mark wouldn't get jealous anymore.

Nice pic Bill. I saw him laying on the trailer and I thought about borrowing him for some pics but I had to leave before you got back.

The only problem I had to deal with was dealing with Snapper Restaurant on saturday night. I was told by Mach 1 reqistry (Dave) to made reservation for twenty people. So Snapper brought in more help so we didn't need to wait for our food. I tryed calling Haeg but he must have turn his phone off saturday evening. So Mach1 Reqistry, After eight years, this is my last post. I know when I need to walk away and fade away. Crist (old school) I'll keep in touch with you on Team Shelby. Homeboy.

True, I'd be angry if I was left hanging like that.

Not good to see someone go away angry, but I think I would have been a bit upset.

I'll let Dave say his part but no one knew how to get ahold of Tom to tell him.

Re: Who cancel Saturday Night dinner. (Carlisle)

as stated in the other thread about missing dinner, it was decided at the showfield about all the leftovers to have another cook out. I don't know Tom's number and he usually comes by the hotel before dinner and didn't see him at the show field either? Never saw him if he did...we are sorry if things got messed up, but it was a group decision to use up the left overs.....sorry about that.....

That ought to make Tom feel all warm and fuzzy.

I can understand not being able to get ahold of someone, also. But sure, I'd be ticked, too. I don't blame him. But what do I know? Nothing. Except I would feel bad if I left someone sitting while I did a no show.

Someone could have driven over and informed him.
Hindsight is 20/20, but we must be considerate of others.
If I knew someone had an event set up you can bet your sweet bottom I'd be there.
Its a shame. I guess one pissed member really does not matter.

It would matter to us, sure. One person could have went to find him there, let him know, maybe hang with him and his wife for a bit and head back, just so he didn't waste his time and feel offended. I'm not a mean person though. As long as you don't tell me to make a sammich.

I agree. It's rude not to honor the agreement. Someone should have made an attempt to consult with Tom before the dinner was canceled. I'm sure Tom is feeling like

Sounds to me like not many people knew Tom put so much effort into getting the restaurant and that it was a big deal. One or two people I can understand would be inconsiderate if they knew but every single person involved except Tom? I don't really see that. Miscommunication has started WARS!
