Your beginning bid is $2k above market at least.

It's a really nice car and I don't want to sound like one of those guys who craps on someone's for sale thread, but...

Im not sure about the rest of the guys on this forum, or what the Bullshitz market Value is. Or the bullshitz KBB, You cant even buy a stripped 2dr Focus for 15k.. To me its gets to the point of principle.
Wether or not what some people GIVE there cars away, The plain fact of the Matter is The Mach1 is worth more than the market values and KBB.. Especially since if you wanted a plain Mustang GT with leather nowadays, your gonna be paying 35k or more..
I would rather crush my car then give it away

As a point of reference, I paid $11.5k for mine at a dealership with 80k miles, but otherwise mint.

You are probably better off returning to stock and recovering some of the cost of those mods. Speaking of which, how much for the hood struts?

True, but for someone who doesn't appreciate the unique qualities of the Mach 1, a used S197 GT is now well below $20k which doesn't help our values unfortunately.

Ya, Sucks these cars fall off the value map soo soon, If they had Toyota nameplate on them they would be worth almost sticker still..

I have about 50k less miles than that! so I should pull in at least 14 in my eyes haha

Well now you have first dibs on the hood struts...bought them new for $113 ish. So how about 75 shipped?

Re: Azure Mach in NH

What's really hurting the prices of these cars are people willing to sell them (wholesale) at a cheap price just to get rid of them hurting the market value for the car.

To me if you have to come down on price to sell, then that is the market deciding what the true price is. I can say all day that my very nice 88k mile 04 is "worth" $14k. If no one buys it until I bring the price down to $11k, then it evidently is not worth $14k. It's basic economics.

That being said, yes there are the occasional rock bottom guys looking to just get out of a car in a matter of days, and like foreclosure sales of houses, that can bring down the value for everyone. By and large though, I think the prices work themselves out.

Sorry to the OP for all the babbling.

Re: Azure Mach in NH

17000 obo

still for sale, but only for this week unless I get some serious offers. I have a buddy whose dad works at a ford dealership and said he would sell it there. heres the full description...

Here is a 2003 Mustang Mach 1. It was about 35000 miles on it. It is the azure blue color, which is a mach 1 only color. I've owned this car for two years now. I'm selling because it's time that I make a move on the business I want to purchase. I absolutely love this car and had planned on keeping it as long as I could. However, life gets in the way sometimes. I hope whoever buys it takes care of it like I have. I work as an auto detailer so it is absolutely immaculate. I am a perfectionist so everything has been maintained the way it should be. It never gets beat on. I bring it to get it inspected and they think its my father's car because it's babied. It was just inspected and passed with flying colors. It is stored every winter and never driven in the salt even if the snow is gone. I park it, put sta-bil in it and don't start again until after I change the oil the day I'm bringing it out. I use amsoil 5w-20 synthetic. It says I can go 5000 miles, but I only go 3000. If you have any questions, feel free to ask even if this isn't the Mach 1 for you. I have learned a lot about it over the years and may be able to help with questions. I will also throw in my car cover for it.

The aftermarket performance parts include:

MRT catted h pipe

K&N cold air intake

3/8" intake spacer

Other aftermarket parts include:

MACH 1 fuel door

Embroidered head rests

IUP (interior upgrade package) pieces on the dash/shifter area

MACH 1 shifter knob

Blue calipers

MRT hood struts

MACH 1 floor mats

MUSTANG letters on the rear bumper
