Re: need help please

I think I have read on here that the blinking light acts as a trouble light for the tranny. Might be wrong. Try searching it.

Talking Re: need help please

You need to check the trans for codes.Find someone with a scanner that will read ALL (I use a Mac/spx) the codes or go to dealer.

Re: need help please

Anyone ever identify what the blinking OD light means? Mine did this today for the first time, for about 30 seconds while cruising down the highway.

Re: need help please

When it blinks, that means something could be seriously wrong and you are supposed to stop driving it immediately. Ours did that and we drove it a little ways, checked the oil, and it had none... so check your oil

Re: overdrive light keeps blinking on and off

Checked for codes with my tuner and it found a code, 1728 I think was the number and description was "trans slip". I cleared the code and will check oil level and see what happens.

Transmission slippage erratic or no torque converter clutch operation
