castMach 1 Owners: How Hard to Disassemble and Paint one?

I have given up on finding a white 2004 diecast Mach 1. Now I am wondering if buying another color '04 model and taking it apart for paint is possible. I'm worried about damaging the side badging.

Can someone with a model take a good look and tell me if it looks like the body will come apart without destroying the badges or any other parts?

Thanks!

Try WWW.Diecastfast.com I don't know why they are so much more than the other colors. They are 2003 models so the fender badge would be different,if that matters.

THe AutoArt are a pain in the butt to disasseble, but can get done. My buddy did a white one and painted it Zinc Yellow to match my car. He said, NEVER AGAIN! and he is into models and such...

U could buy a White 03 Mach and then purchase a 04 Mach and take the badge off it and stick it on the 03. THen put a pony emblem on the 04 to make it a 03 U'll have 2 1 of 1 Autoart diecasts

Or you could have someone create you a 40th ann emblem and stick it over the pony emblem. Bout the only difference
