Technical questions?

I'm thinking of getting a Vortech V-2 SQ SCi-Trim Standard System and I have just a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with. First off, is the Auxiliary Airduct Kit that incorporates the shaker scoop a waste of $$$? I bought the Mach in large part because of that large hole in the hood with a slab of steel sticking out of it and would like to at least say it's still somewhat functional. Can I get by running it at 7 or 8 psi without having to change anything other then what is provided with the kit ( http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...on.php?pvk=607 )? Will I have to remove my strut tower brace, Intake spacer, and/or relocate the battery? Also, I'm looking for a shop in the greater bay area that can both install it and do the tune and if anyone has a recommendation that would be swell. All thoughts and opinions are appreciated as well as guaranteed in the bill of rights
Thanks
Matt F.

Re: Technical questions?

Got it. I guess the big question would be can I put one in without upgrading the block, clutch, and internal stuff or would I just be playing Russian roulette with my car? Oh, thanks for the help.
