I agree, now if somebody would give me enough for the complete set of mine, with stock apperance and no clear coat issues for the same amount LooKnGo wants for his eaton, I would think about it..

I wonder how much interest there is in the verde wheels. They are 10.5, but not paint matched like afs nor have a big of a dish as them. |

Re: AFS 17x10.5 Group Purchase
Here are the latest emails to Julio and no response. I think that the guys that are saying that this is a pipe dream are going to be right. THIS IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. I am a very opimistic person, but I have to be honest. I'm losing hope. What do you think? I know that this is a long email, but if you take the time to read it, I think you will agree.
Julio, just over one month ago I started a thread on the Mach 1 registry website about the interest for the 17 X 10.5 Mach 1 wheels that AFS used to make. Now over 2500 people have viewed this thread and have GREAT interest in buying a set of these wheels with "cash in hand." I was on Ebay earlier today and saw that you DO make the 10.5" wide wheels but they are the 20" wheels. That is not the look that Mach 1 Owners want. Please visit the thread I started, http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...ad.php?t=92661, and you will see that the vast majority of the people that stated that they wanted to buy a set of these wheels want the 17 X 10.5 with the stock, gray machined finish. If you made these wheels, they would SELL and not just sit there like the 3 sets of the 20" variety that are on Ebay right now. Also, to make them available without tires and in a pair instead of a set of 4, would also make them sell better. To sell them in sets of 4 would make your average sale higher, but if you offered them at a price that was discounted a little if you bought a set four, maybe you would find that the pairs actually sold better even though it was more expensive to buy 2 than it was to buy 4 on a per wheel basis. i.e.. 2 for $350 or 4 for $650. Please understand that I'm not trying to tell you how to run you business but I am a business owner myself and I know, like you do, that things are not as they used to be. It is harder to make a buck now than it has been in a long time but people are still willing to buy your product, you just have to know what product the public wants. Once again, please visit this thread and see for your self, the owners of Mach 1's don't want the 20"er's, They want the stock diameter, stock finish, just in the 10.5" width! This thread has been on the Mach 1 Registry website since 5-2-09 and as of right now has 2507 views and the only other thread that has more has been up since Jan of 06'. I'm telling you, this is a very hot topic and there are a lot of people that REALLY want these wheels! PLEASE MAKE THEM AGAIN or at least tell us when you are planning to start production on them or that you will not ever make them again. Please don't just leave us hanging! Thanks in advance for making people smile when they look at their awesome, AFS wheels, John Julio, I just thought that you might want to know that in 1 day, the number of views went up by over 100! There is a lot of interest in these wheels. The 17 x10.5 in the gray machined finish, not the 20's! Make them and they will sell! Sincerly, John

If they ever make them I'll take two sets, just because they made them if they ever do make them.

Re: AFS 17x10.5 Group Purchase
Ill hunt a set down somehow/someway but I definitely would buy a new set from AFS. I have no complaints about their product as I have a set of their staggered Black Chrome Bullitts on my 02' and love them!!!
