Re: Will Ford re intruduce the Mach?

The S/PJ was a serious amount of work to build. The follow up car just had a regular 4.6 with a blower thrown on it. Having driven a Shelby GT both with and without a blower on it, I'd still say the S/PJ package is superior overall. I douby Steve will do somethign of that nature again. But, it would be nice if he did!

Re: Will Ford re intruduce the Mach?

If they made it in any other style than the newest one, I might consider it, put in a big block and make over 400 hp, yeah, I might consider it. Buy one as a DD and keep my 03 the way it is lol.

Can you say the "S" word without paying the old man? I mean if he sees this post you might get sued

There are pics of the new Ford 6.2L that say BOSS on it.

Yeah, I posted them up! But it brings up an interesting possibility. How about a Boss powered Mach 1? If the Aussies can build a Boss powered Cobra GT and Shelby actually had a Boss powered GT-350 back in the day, why not a Boss powered Mach 1?

A Shelby GT is a joke to me. You pay all that extra money because it came from Shelbys shop, its got a Cal Special bumpers and an intake .

Thats what scares me about them making another Mach or Boss, if something like that happens...
