Passing a police car...
Passing a police car doing 130mph felt very wrong! They didn't even flinch though - good old Autobahn!

Re: Passing a police car...
... and legal too. I've been on the Autobahn a few times but never in a Mustang.

Re: Passing a police car...
I'm jealous.
The last time I was driving the German autobahns, I was in an econobox Peugot that seemed to have only 3 of the 4 hamsters still on their wheels. It was all I could do to get it to around 140-150 kph. |

Re: Passing a police car...
But don't pass them here either. Last night going home there was a state trooper in front of me going about 65. There was a car next to him so he was pretty much blocked from sight. Some kid in a Honda came flying by at about 90. Needless to say ... BUSTED!

Re: Passing a police car...
I cut a CHP off doing 120+ one night & just kept going...he flipped around & gave chase but I never let up & had too much advantage...not proud of it but we all do dumb things at times.

Re: Passing a police car...
Haha, I had a similar thing happen driving back from a race last weekend. I was on I-70 and yeah, I was doing about 80 in a 70 zone, but I run a good radar detector. I was towing my track-day trailer, but it's got full signal lights, so I KNOW this kid in a Honda that was using me as a front-door saw me tap the breaks and slow down 6-7 mph. He just pulled around me, never once noticed the KHP cruiser and I think he even sped up because I would swear he was going at least 85+. I watched the whole drama unfold as the cruiser passed me at well over 100+ to catch the Honda and the idiot actually tried to pull into a cluster of cars and sort of "hide". That was the 6th cruiser I'd passed in 70 miles, so I just decided to putter along for the remaining 35 miles or so.
