what is the cost different when having your car repaired using an 01 cobra front compared to the stock bumper? I think I remember reading one thread on here that said the 01 front was actually cheaper for some reason.

Yeah, for some reason the 01 cobra bumper was cheaper. It costs more though when they add in the bezels and fog lights so be prepared to pay the difference. I think it was like $80 more all said and done. I was suprised when they told me that.

Are the Cobra bumpers still readily available? I'd heard that Ford quit making them? True?

I just got into an accident feb 16th

, got rear ended and pushed into guard rail so front both side and rear of car needs replacement/repair. Anyone who has gone through the dealer for repairs do you normally have issues paying the differance for differant bumper? like I want the 03-04 cobra.

I was shocked they decided not to total it. So far we are up to $7600 in damages. Works for me as I will hopefully get the cobra bumper I wanted and an all new paint job except the roof.
