Mach 1 Engine Cutaway?

Does anyone know if there exists a poster or something I could buy of a cutaway of new Mach 1 Engine? If not, how about any of the '96-'01 Cobra engines? If you don't know what I'm talking about...here is an example of a Bullitt engine...

I would like it in poster form, the reason is because I think it would make a good gift. Thanks for any help!

Cool Thats a cool pic

I can see the pic you posted so you posted it correctly and it is an awsome cut away. I do not know where to find a Mach engine picture at but I will keep my eyes open. Good luck, and whom ever this gift is for will me a happy Macher

I have looked all over as well and came up empty. The Bullitt pic looks like it originated from Ford. If we had a Ford connection, maybe we could get one that way.

1/4-scale model of a DOHC 32-Valve motor

How about a 1/4-scale model of a DOHC 32-Valve motor:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...W335LD947X7V08

What you really get is a 1/4 scale die-cast model of the 2001 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra engine. The officially licensed Ford Motor Company model has been limited to 1,000 engines.

That would be nice but I'd rather spend $300 on mods.

Yeah, but I just got my Combat Pay and tax exempt check for November and December so I'm "covered" . As far as mods....I'm still waiting on the release of the Diablo Predator,a CAI that works with the shaker scoop, and a couple of other things that are just popping up on the "radar screen".

When I told my son about this 1/4 scale DOHC motor he said, "Hey, maybe we could install it on the riding lawnmower". That's my Boy!

That scale motor would look great with a shaker on top, i.e. as a Mach 1 DOHC 32-Valve motor. While pricey, I would definitely get one for display.

Thanks for the help guys. I knew it would be a long shot, but I thought I'd ask. Yes, the scale motor is definitely a bit steep, although cool.

Well I spent the bucks and got the 1/4-scale 32V DOHC 4.6L "little" motor. All I can say is WOW !!! It is so cool (neat, bad, the bomb or whatever they say nowadays ), It has a little crank that fits into the back of the engine you can turn and watch the pistons go up and down while the timing chains on the cams are turning. I actually took the "fan" belt off doing some stuff with it and couldn't figure out how to put it back on so I went out to the garage and raised the hood on my Mach 1 to see how it went. Put it back on in 5 seconds then . Here's a link to some pics of it and one of my hand opening up the throttle linkage on the TB. Thank goodness you can't hear me making the rev'ed up motor noises as I did this .

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/409183/7

It comes with a numbered plate from Ford Motor Company and mine was #327 of 1000 made. It's actually a 2001 Cobra 4.6L DOHC 32-Valve engine but it looks nearly identical to a Mach 1 engine. Oh well, time to figure out how to get that little Motorcraft 820s oil filter off for it's first oil change.

Link to order one:

Those are sweet. Can you disassemble them? And are they plastic or metal?

It's fun to play with. I took it to work and all my guys just about flipped out over it  . It was fun showing my son how a motor looks and works with the OHC's. The left side front is clear plastic and you can see the cam and pistons turn and go up and down as well as the cam chains turning. It's mostly plastic with some metal parts. I don't think you can really disassemble it as I was afraid to try and twist the little "bolts" too hard. One of my "cam chains" had come off and I used some small dental picks and tools to reach in the slots and cutout areas to put it back on the cam gear.

It ain't cheap...but it sure is neat.

Better get those valve covers painted... Unless you want to trade your '03 for an '04. Just want to keep things "accurate"!

They have lots of them left. They're used as a training aid for Ford.
