I hope you look into the Expedition EL

It's been fun,but it's time to move on.
That's what my wife told me when she filed for
divorce and moved out about a month ago after
25 years of marrage,nice huh
But I still have the mach and I have the house
so I guess it could be worse.........

Well, that's quite a comparison there... but you win in terms of having the sadder story.

For me, it was just a car. A nice, fun car that I thoroughly enjoyed while I had it... but just a car none the less.

Re: It's been fun, but it's time to move on...

So what does a guy with one teenager and two pre-teenagers get to haul the family around?

The wheels and tires are brand new; just put them on this last weekend. 17x8 American Racing "Chrome Crush" shod with 265/70R17 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo rubber.

I couldn't stand the OEM "starfish" wheels that were on it and I wanted to stay with 17" rubber since there's a ton more options at more reasonable prices than for the larger sizes. It was hard finding chrome wheels that look classy without adding a bunch of ghetto bling to the truck.

3 Weeks After Selling The Mach...

Do I miss it? No, not really. I guess if I drove the Mach more often when I had it I might miss it more, but I'm enjoying the comfort and practicality of the Denali too much still.

The other night, my wife tried to drive us by where the Mach is sitting now and I caught onto it and told her to turn around. I'm happy with my decision and didn't want to have my emotions start playing games with me. I loved the Mach but this makes a lot more sense to me from a practical and financial standpoint.

I'm sure there will be another Mustang for me another day. I've still never owned a Fox-platform Mustang (my wife does) and I'd like to scratch that itch sooner or later. Maybe a nice 1993 Cobra....

Re: It's been fun, but it's time to move on...

Nice choice on the Denali, I had a Sierra Denali before the Mach. I have some nice mods left from the truck if your interested in making it a little nicer... HIDs for the lowbeams, lower grille for the bumper that matches the upper, wood grain steering wheel (assuming you have '03- up with tan, looks like you do)... shoot my a PM if you're interested, it's just taking up space in the garage. Also, check out DenaliTrucks.com... best place on the net for those trucks.

Here are a couple pics of mine:

He lied. Not only did he miss the car, he missed it enough to buy it back! True story.

Wow... talk about irony. When I saw this thread was bumped recently, it was quite a shock. Especially given my recent turn of events!
