If you are using a 308 to hunt crows, then you are using WAY too much gun. I use my ruger 22 with a cheap scope. Works every time. I have to do it almost every year. (Gardens and pecan trees)

I believe it is a 62mm? Not certain on that though.
The inside ports measure 2 3/8"
The outside overall measures 5 1/8".
