Re: Update...
I have since removed the front end strap. I didn't like it very much. I just lowered the fork tubes in the triple tree. I still have to be careful though. I can still bring the front end up even with...

Update...
What's up everyone?
Just stopping by to say hi to everyone. I haven't posted in quite a while. To update everyone on my status, I'm doing well. I am no longer the owner of my 04 Mach1. I gave it...

Re: Tensioner Squeek
It sounds like the bearing is gone. You will have to replace the tensioner. I had the same thing happen to an idler pulley on my supercharged 98 GT. The bearings are sealed, so there is no other way...

Re: RTV Sealant...shifter stuck
Buy yourself a hand pump and fill it through the fill hole on the tranny. That's how I fill mine. The pumps cost about $10 at any auto parts store. IMO, removing the shifter is unecessary work.

Re: optimum setup for drag racing
What exactly is your overall goal? Do you care anything at all about sacrificing streetability? I live in the Kansas City area too. I have what I believe to be a pretty good track setup on my Mach....

Re: Cheap dry nitrous kit
Keep it, don't sell it. I just responded to your PM's that you sent almost 3 weeks ago. You will be missing out on a real treat if you don't install that kit.

Re: Dry nitrous kit's???
Yes. I have the NOS dry kit #05116 on my Mach1. There are several pics in the photo gallery, as well as some threads on my install here on the Registry.

Re: better cold air kit steeda or C&L
I can see everyones point of view about the different CAI kits that are on the market, but I personally haven't seen any kit that I would prefer over my C&L CAI kit. It works perfect for me and my...

Re: Launching on nitrous questions
This is exactly how I launch on the bottle, and pull 1.6's with an occasianal 1.5 short time. I use the M/T ET Streets though. You should be fine to keep doing things the way that you have. I think...

Re: Slicks, What size?
You are already running the best street slick out there now IMO. You can certainly get more out of those tires in terms of et reduction. I pull consistent 1.6's with that same tire on my car, and I...

Re: MT ET Street pressure
That's about how far I have to drive to my track, but I still run my ET Streets all the time. I have put over 4k miles on them with regular streer use, and I still pull 1.6's with them. I say leave...

Re: MT ET Street pressure
13-14 psi at the track, and 22 psi on the street. The track pressure indicated got me consistent 1.6 short times with 1.5's on two occasions.

Re: New Toy
Nice bike Phil. I know you won't leave it alone. LOL! There are several Harley's that run at my local track, and many are running solid 10's, with a couple of the dipping into 9's. I don't know what...
