Re: 18x10 in rear & 17x9 in front?
My former 03 Azure Blue wore 245/45/17; section height: 4.34" F + 285/35/18; section height: 3.92" R. I have to admit the shorter section height on the rear appeared odd. Just my two cents.

Re: Wheel Sizes
The bottom line is wheel (tire & rim) diameter. OEM is 25.68" New Edge Mustangs can handle as low as 20mm offsets at the rear. On my former Mach 1, I ran 18X10:285/35/18; offset 22mm; diameter 25.66"...

Re: increase stock rim size from 17" to 18" ?
If I understand your question correctly, going from a 17" rim to an 18" rim would require the purchase of an 18" rim. It is only possible to increase the width of any given rim, not it's diameter....

Re: Tire size help?
The optimum tire size for an 18X10 rim is 285/35/18. Only a +0.66 diameter difference from OEM, and fits a 10" rim perfectly. FYI, all the suggested tire sizes (mine included) will not fill any of...

Re: 17X10.5 rear rubbing
I wonder if your issue is the rear rim's offset? If it is below 22mm, then that would be your issue. A 5mm spacer should then do the trick. :33:

Re: Wheel Vintiques are giving me a headache
Simply said: The backspace should be identical. The key to answer is offset. Given the CDC rim and backspace figures, I would venture to guess the offsets are ~20mm, backspace 5.25" front; ~25mm,...

Re: Quick simple tire question
The bottom line is your speedometer and odometer will be off by nearly 4% which will effect your true mileage reading, and your ABS functionality. Both can be remedied with a speedometer...

Re: 275/40ZR-17 on stock rims?
And staggered setup would be ideal in this situation. A 275 on an 8" rim has to be a tight fit; the optimum rim width for a 275 is 9". One would think the rear sidewalls are straining; especially in...
