See that to me, is just mostly noise. It's for sure loud, yet too undefined. All LM1's are really. I can't stand my buddies 00 auto with it.

I prefer a catted X as it isn't as rumbley and the cats seems to cut down on some of the... "bellowing" if you will... of the louder catbacks.

This one does it for me, and I've heard a few others that are lower quality, but the pitch of the exhaust seems to go even higher.

The pitch goes up throughout the entire rpm range. At 1:06 when he seems to redline it is the sound I'm looking for. The gt's with the bassani just don't sound the same because they don't hit those rpm's. The lower rpm sound, as dumb as this sounds, I'm not worried about as I think most catbacks sound similar enough in the low range. It's that 6000+rpm's sound I'm looking for something specific..

Strangely enough, 95% of the v10's and v12's out there I can't stand. There's just something too... buzzy about them. They tend to have almost a sport bike sound. That's not what I'm looking for. The hum and buzz isn't pleasant to me, but the bassani and to a lesser extent loud mouth 2 + catted X just hit a certain pitch I think is awesome towards redline. Every engine has a different sound I like. LSx, LTx, 4.6, even stuff like Audi's 4.2v8 doesn't matter how similar or different I just think there is that perfect sound for each, and none of those "ideal sounds" may have anything in common.

I'd love to hear a take off and drive by. How do you like them compared to the flows?

OK so who here has a REAL screamer lol? Best I've heard so far catted X and bassani catback. With each rpm the pitch just keeps getting higher. On GT's its so so, but with the Mach/cobra's extra thousand rpms, it hits such a sweet pitch at the top. Plus it sounds just quite enough at idle.

So, who's got a serious high pitch, high rpm exhaust on? Catted X + whatever preferably but I'm interested go anything.

I've got the Borla Atak cat back and an off road x pipe on my mach, its loud but I love the sound of the higher rpm's. It really screams. I've had a few people tell me its to raspy but I like it. To each his own lol

I love the sound clip of your exhaust! I'm thinking about the Prochamber...I've never heard it in person...it has a very unique sound compared to x and h pipes, correct?

Is the prochamber a combination of the x and h pipe design?

Insert Your Exhaust Sound Clips Here

I finally got a new exhaust setup. Borla Stingers with JBA off road H pipe.

http://youtu.be/rtk8AedjfIQ

And here's a quick test drive. Nevermind my slow shifting lol.

http://youtu.be/a_nE8OqUVRw

I love it. It's loud and sounds great when your on the pedal, but you can also keep it from being crazy loud if your easy with the pedal, like when a cop is nearby lol.

Sorry, they're formatted for Instagram.

I have a clip but my camera sucks and it is kinda long (only hard road on my way home)

Haha yup, that was some 3rd gear chirp'in. It's harder to hear with the new exhaust. I had the stock H pipe with cats and a Flowmaster muffler delete cat back. I think originally, it had the Flowmasters and then the previous owner cut them out so it was just the tips. It wasn't too bad sounding. I ended up having a shop put the system in. With it being my daily driver, I couldn't afford any downtime for fixing broken manifold or exhaust bolts.

Yours sounds good. I like Magnaflow too. Your video lo...l "oh ****" "oh ****" lol

I can't wait to go to the track and see if it makes any difference going down the strip.
