Re: Stinger GT

Too bad SVT never got around to playing with one of those, could've been fun!
Most don't remember the SVT Contour, but they did that, too as well as the SVT Focus.

Re: Die -cast cars

Hidden in that collection are two full size Mustangs, a 30th anniversary convertible and a SY '04 Mach 1. He was a registered member on here, and a great guy as well.

Re: Die -cast cars

It is with a truly sad heart that I must report to you that Scott Moen (ANVPNY), my friend, has passed away. He had been having medical issues, and they finally caught up to him and he passed on...

Re: Stinger GT

What really chaps me is that Hot Wheels actually makes the Kia in its regular line, as well as recently releasing a GTO from our time frame, but nooooooo Mach 1! Stupid Mattel!!!

Re: Stinger GT

You're right in that it's sad that Ford doesn't play in that sandbox and could be a power there. Even if they could do it as a Lincoln, an updated Torino (?), Fairlane (?), Falcon (?) or SHO...

Re: Check your spare tire!

If anyone needs to replace their space saver, there are a number of correct sizes and brands, including the Goodyears similar that we originally had on eBay. Apparently there are some Toyotas that...

Re: Who is running Synthetic oil?

Been running Castrol Edge 5W20 and it's been nothing less than the best thing I've ever run. The OE Motorcraft had the engine making more noise, but the Mobil 1 was my worst experience. Killed my...

Re: Cobra brakes?

Mach 1 brake parts are the same as the Cobra, as well as the 2001 Bullitt. GT parts on the front are not the same.

Re: detailing products

I did a (Mothers) clay bar routine on the Boss and it brings the red back out to popping like it should.I did use the 303 Graphene coating, and I'm not sure it gives the shine of a high quality wax...

Re: Seats?

I think the unique FJG 2021 Mach 1 uses a red stripe on the seats, but otherwise it's silver stripe. Too bad, it's be nice if they color keyed it to the car, I believe 70 did that as well, 69 was red...

Re: Seats?

The pattern of the insert is different on the TMI seat covers and it won't accommodate the correct foam of the Mach 1 / cobra seats, you have to use their foam.

Re: Seats?

More frustration. Mine is in need of help as well, and I'll leave it to a local long time upholstery shop to work some magic. With the original seat covers unavailable (TMIs isn't correct), I'm...

Re: Anyone in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge Area?

I've tried to get Andy on here since day one and he just won't sign up. There were a few other locals that were regulars here, but I guess one way or another they've move on. I don't do the FB thing,...

Re: Anyone in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge Area?

Yep, me!
Don't see many Mach 1s around now.
Andy from Andy's Hobby Towne have a super low mileage SY car, and Stormin Norman has a really sweet low mileage TR '04. And we have a club member...

Re: Got my Marti Report on my Mach 1

The story on these go deeper than that.
It all started when a lady named Lois Emminger saw a number of boxes being tossed out by Ford. There were dealer invoices for 68 and up Mustangs. She not...

Re: Inside trim color

I will say that this is for an early production 2003 car, I don't know if the color changed from year to year or later in the production run, but yep, it's ain't even close!
That's why I took the...
