87 octane = low grade
89 octane = mid grade
91 octane and above is considered premium

While it's out and apart, you might want to check into replacing the powdered metal oil pump gears with some billet gears just as a little insurance to protect your investment against pump failure...

I still think your best bang for the buck would be spraying a 50 or 75 shot. I havn't heard of anyone on this site blowing anything up with a mild kick in the a$$ like a 50-75 shot. Just save up some...

I have been running the Spec Stage 2 clutch w/aluminum FW and 4:30's for 10K miles with no problems (5K + launches), slight chatter but it's not to bad. Pedal pressure is not much more over stock....

Phil, do you control both bottles with 1 pressure switch? I'm looking at a dual bottle set up and I am wondering if you monitor pressure at the T where the 2 bottles tie together.

I guess it depends if you want to do the extra work on the K install, I hear it's worth doing. Hey machuban.. my brother lived in El Segundo for quite a while, he's now in Hawthorne somewhere.

Hawk, I had my eaton filled with synthetic oil before I read the card. I drained it and added Quaker State 85/140 with the 4ozs. of additive, no problems with 7000 miles on it.
