Re: Carlisle 2023 Roll Call

Plan on being there but I also said that year. Doing my best not to repeat the event that kept me from the show last year.

Re: Say a prayer please

Sorry for your loss and for not seeing this prior to today. I lost my dad 20 years ago this week. He was only 49 years old.

Re: Carlisle 2021 - - - - Who's in?

Boney, you and the family joining us for the cookout this year?

You bringing the Mach? Been a while since I saw one with the factory air still in the tires.

Re: Carlisle 2021 - - - - Who's in?

As with other years I will supply the burger for the hamburgers and cheese. Just need someone to get the rolls.

I have a couple items for door prizes and I got a nice item to raffle off for the...

Re: switching from Steeda Tri-Ax to MGW short throw shifter

I've had the MGW since 05 or 06 and still really like it. They are really stiff at first and eventually loosen up. Will note that they changed the design since I bought mine and a friend who bought...

Re: New tires (repair)

Am running the Firestones on both the Cobra and the Mach. Great tires and I owe it to John for recommending them a few years ago.

Ash, it would definitely be worth putting them on the front as...

Re: Hello Mach 1 World

Can attest to the powdercoating. Had mine done by the same person a few years ago and haven't had to touch it since. Short term you can use Mothers Back to Black on it. If left out in the sun daily,...

Re: Carlisle 2021 - - - - Who's in?

You bet, even if you keep teasing me with pics of awesome looking wings. Will have to make a trip up there when things get back to normal.

Re: 13/14 style tail lights

When you do the sequential kit, also do the modified flasher. They look much better when they flash slower.

Re: Batteries

Yeah, used to be a huge Interstate fan. Last few didn't do so well. Also had to replace an Optima that was less than a year old.

Getting nervous about the battery in the Mach. It is one of the...

Re: Are you still the original owner????

Second owner. Bought 9/1/04 with 562 miles on it. Crossed 60k miles the last times I drove it. Original owner traded it in on an F-150 after an illness made it too hard for him to get in and out of...

Re: New Member from Calgary

Welcome to the registry. Love the Viper, been a huge fan of them since they came out. It is a bucket list car. If I wouldn't be so stubborn about keeping cars, I would have already checked it off the...

Re: C&L intake tube

Black, is my vote. Not a fan of overstated pieces in the engine bay. I'd powercoat it to make it easy to keep clean.

Re: Next item to be done.

Consider buying new clamps as some (especially OEM style) are not designed to be loosened and re-tightened. Learned this one the hard way.

Re: Carlisle 2020 - - - Who's in?

I know, was just joking as the last person who worked on both cars did leave and start his own company.

Re: Carlisle 2020 - - - Who's in?

John, I think we covered pretty much the whole car from bumper to bumper along with the why and why nots. Believe the only question we didn't ask Carl was since he worked on the Bullitt and Mach 1,...

Re: Need help clutch or rear diff.

Having run the Potenzas I will note that they grab pretty good once warm. That said, with 4:10 gears you should be able to over power them. If the rpms are increasing but the car isn't pulling at the...
