Anyone using a QuickJack??

I’m looking at some of those low rise lifts and seems like people are pretty happy with the QuickJacks. Anyone have any feedback for the price point and what model did you order for our cars.

Thanks for any feedback.

The Rad Garage fella has used one and you'll see it in his videos. I like them because you can hang them on the wall out of the way when not in use. He uses his for detailing, winter wheel changes, etc. He has Swiss Trax on his floor, so I'm betting that makes it easier to move in place.

Here's a video when he got a new one. I believe he already had an older one.

Re: Anyone using a QuickJack??

ive been going back and forth but if I do get them I'll get the 7000 series one so I can use them on my DD F150 too. I was hoping I could just push them together and basically store them under the car when not in use but looks like Im a tad too low.

They're not light at around 100lbs each side

I'll probably have to add jacking rails to my car as well, which I wanted to do anyway (they have the pieces to lift by the pinch welds). Costco sometimes has good pricing on them as well

I've had mine since 2019. Great tool. Already paid for itself. Great for oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, exhaust work. I bought the 5000 lb model. More than enough lifting power. I've had my friend's Challenger on it and it's very stable and secure. Much safer than jacks and jack stands. I paid about $1300 but that was 4 years ago. Again, it's already paid for itself. My biggest complaint is that they're very heavy and it takes some effort to slide under your car and to pull them out. Someone posted something about storing them on your wall? I doubt it. I wouldn't want to try and lift one of these things. I store it on the ground to the sides of my garage. Not enough clearance to store under the car. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's a great tool for the home mechanic who's garage isn't big enough for a 2 post lift.

if i had to put them up on the wall I'd never use them. its just my car in the 2 car garage so Im planning to store them just to the side of the car and park in between them.

I haven't look it up yet but apparently there's some kind of mod people are doing adding wheels to the side so you can kind of tilt it up from one side and roll it in and out but when laying flat the wheels dont touch

edit: the 7klb one with rubber and metal spacers and wall hangers is $1,600 at costco, only about $200 more than the 5000

I saw a Facebook post where the guy posted how he loves them. he lowers the car onto wheel blocks from one of the ramp-kit companies. very cool. been thinking about these myself

Re: Anyone using a QuickJack??

after spending probably 20 minutes to get the car up and pull all 4 wheels - im done, Im ordering the 7klb set and metal risers from costco. Ive talked to a couple people that have em and love em, spent a bit of time watching youtube videos on em as well.

if do you get them Id look into how people are adding casters to them to roll them around side to side, not just forward and back. Where they place the casters when you start to lift the vehicle the wheels come up off the ground so it's sitting flat like it should.

3 things I gathered from videos
1) make damned sure you unlock both sides when lowering
2) as it says in the book, do NOT stack their rubber blocks
3) there are some better pinch point lift blocks through parent company bendapack if you wont be lifting from welded in subframe connectors or jacking rails
