Next item to be done.

Well now that I am back being a Mach owner, the car is going to need some little things and thought I would allow yall to help me out. It maybe a little while before the first one happens, but that will give time for voting. I am really up in the air of what the first thing will be and honestly it is just giving the mach some TLC.

Do the cheapest ones first…. center caps, exhaust tips, hood struts, headlamps.....maybe in this order

yea, i'm missing one center cap, the exhaust tips, from what I saw were not welded on, so just need to readjust them so that are aligned with the cut out part.

My vote has to be the headlights. It's the very first thing you see on a car and I think can make a huge difference in the overall perception of the "cleanliness" of a car.

Not many people will notice you missing a center cap, exhaust tips, or hood struts. Almost everyone will notice those headlights. It may be the most expensive, but that's my vote!

I vote headlights as well. The first thing I did on my Mach was replace the taillights. Mine had these terrible looking alteeza lights from the previous owner. Very Civic or 04 GTO like and truly ghastly to look at lol. Despite mine being 4x4 height, bullitt wheels, and some odd looking fender badges...the taillights were like the only thing you could see.

Absolutely headlights. Get the Ford ones, you'll pay a little more than the aftermarket (LKQ, etc.), but they'll outlast the China made stuff. It's safety as well as the thing that stands out most when they're not right.

Re: Next item to be done.

You could get the missing center cap on e bay. They're over priced for what they are, but buying just one isn't a huge deal.

Those look like magnaflow tips. They should be adjustable.

Lmr makes some nice looking headlights that are stock appearance that have good reviews. Oem is probably best, but for $520 plush tax...the lmr might not be a bad deal at $143 for both. https://lmr.com/item/LRS-13008I-K/01...-Headlight-Kit

Not sure why we don't have a working coupon for the reg anymore, but you can use foxcast6 for 6% off

I have these...
https://lmr.com/item/LRS-13008V/blac...-mustang-99-04

They fit really good and look excellent. Only drawback was that I needed to seal them with silicone so they wouldn't fog up inside on the damp days etc.

If you don't plan to drive it in crappy weather, these should work good.

I was looking at both of those, I believe I had the one ab_mach1 suggested, but we will see. one of those two will work for me.

looks like tomorrow, I may have some new used OEM headlights. condition looks good, but will see in person. Honestly as long as they are in good used condition then i'll be happy, better than the ones that are on there right now.

Well i'm happy with the $40 OEM headlights I got today. It truly sure does make a difference and looks nice.
only con is driver side rubber part needs little glue, but over all very happy.
Guy had a black GT and was blacking it out, so that is why he had these. Honestly, the best price I found and it was local.

Alright so what is next, lol.

Awesome improvement. You gotta feel good about doing something so basic, but making such a huge difference.

Well next plan is fixing the exhaust tips. I really hope that I can just loosen them up and get them corrected with out having to mess with the rest of the piping.

Consider buying new clamps as some (especially OEM style) are not designed to be loosened and re-tightened. Learned this one the hard way.

These don’t have a clamp going all the way around, just slit and tightens there.
