Mine ran worse after installing it on Saturday, idle hung at about 1100 RPM for several seconds and then dropped to about 400 RPM suddenly enough to stall several times. I am running a K&N CAI and the Diablo Predator tune, don't know if that had any effect on it. I am going to try enlarging the smaller hole to 5/16" and see how it does, glad yours worked the first time.

I agree with ZincMach...it works good. Fixed my idle issues also...that's odd that it made it worse for you FordMan..but like you say, increasing the size of the hole will hopefully help.
Restrictor plate will make idle sound real nice after getting the SHM cams...alright! |
