Borla Stingers w/ MRT Catted H & Bassani Catted X - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Trying to decide between a catted MRT H or catted Bassani X to go with my Borla's.... Just wondering which is louder/ deeper exc. If anyone has any experience with either combo feel free to post!

I've got the MRT catted H and Borla combo. I like it alot. It's kinda loud, but that depends on what YOU consider loud. Either way, the quality of the sound is good. Sorry, but I don't have a recorded sound clip. PM me if you wanna try to work something out on that.

edit: Here's a clip from last weekend's crab run. My car is the red one in front. Not a good burnout, but it goes all the way to redline in 1st. The black car that goes second is JDraper's and it has Borla w/ catted Bassani, I'm pretty sure.

I've got the Bassani Catted X with Stingers on my car, and Bris09 has the MRT Catted H on his car with the Stingers. They sound very similar except that Brian's car is a hair deeper in sound, and mine has a slightly nastier edge to the sound.

IMHO, both sound very good

On edit, in the video posted by GBR60, My car is the black mach and Bris09 is the Blue mach.

id honestly go with a catted bassani x. over on svtperformance alot of the cobra guys agree that borla stingers and a bassani catted x pipe is one of the best exhaust combo's to run. imho stingers with a catted or o/r h sounds too blatty.

Never heard of it before and I don't have that problem with my X pipe.

Funny... I have that same problem and I was JUST talking about it with someone. Though I have a VRS O/R x-pipe. I didn't have the noise when I had my Magnaflow catted x-pipe. Wow I feel so much better now that I know I'm not the only one who had the problem. And that makes sense too because I'm now assuming my VRS is assembled similar to a Bassani x-pipe. It was 2 pieces. It was mainly one full piece except I had to bolt on just one of the pipes. I believe it was the driver side pipe that goes from the headers to the X-portion.

ive had a catted x on my gt and a catted h on the mach. To be honest I would much rather have the X then the H. The x is just so more raw sounding, when i scrounge up some money i will be getting a catted x from upr.

Is UPR's X a good piece? The price is pretty good; if it sounds comparable to the Bassani when paired with the Stingers I might pick one up to..

Bassani hands down. I have Bassani O/R X and love it. My dad has the MRT catted and now O/R H for his cobra. And I like it but the X has just moreloud tone to it. Sounds way better IMO.
