Post Black Wheel Pics Puhleeeease
Well, my next vehicular purchase looks like it may be wheels... I'm looking at black...
I like the Saleens and the Cobras (in black of course). I'm definitely going wider in the back, and I'll probably go with 18's. I have no plans on lowering the car, as everything underneath is nice and low as it is. Any other suggestions? I've thought about the chrome lip, which is still a possibility, but I'm liking the angry look of solid black more and more... So please post pics and suggestions... muh Mach is Black, BTW, so that's why I'm bent on the blackness, yo. : D

Coincidentally, I just got some new rims...
I do think the stripe will not work for a black Mach, unless you want some contrast, but you can order them without a colored stripe...they hand-paint it at the factory. They are from Axis Wheels, called the Halo...but they have a few other models that are black...check them out at www.axiswheels.com. They are 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear...with Nitto555 - 245/40 and 275/35. I have my H&R Super Sports going in soon.. |

Thanks, I appreciate all the compliments. I spent 2 months looking at other wheels, after spotting these, and couldnt find anything I liked better. I think the blue stripe really made up my mind. Axis also makes another called the Super Hiro, a 5 spoke star with a deeper dish, where u can get the stripe painted on. They are nice too...

Yeah, that was me (Tony)...you, Doug and me were talking over by your Mach. I finally got the rims. I also went with the H&R SuperSports, MM CC Plates, and I have a set of 1.25" wheel adapters coming in today. I have my shop time reserved for tomorrow to install the springs, plates and adapters...
