Complete Bassani exhaust?

Does anyone have a complete Bassani exhaust that has a sound clip or video. With Bassani headers(long or mids), Bassani off road x pipe, and Bassani catback? Havent really figured out what I want to do yet, just want to see what this sounds like. Trying to figure out what kind of exhaust I want to put on my Mach, I only have stock down to dual flowmasters at the moment. Thanks

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

I had the Bassani catted X-pipe and cat-back, but not headers. I removed the cats to see what it sounded like, but didn't like it, so I put them back in. It was exactly the sound that I was looking for and I never regretted my purchase. Also, I got tons of compliments for it.

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

Sorry, don't have clip or video. I have had the system on mine from stock headers to rear facia since October of 2002. I do have cats. Car gets lots of compliments for the exhaust. I would decribe it sounding like a Ferrari at WOT and has a nice note when not.

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

It doesnt sound like a "Wet Fart" as some people describe it? Whats the impression you would get when you hear it revving if you didnt know what it was on....a riceburner, an italian, or a musclecar. Bc I dont want an Italian or rice burner sounding car, I want an annoyingly loud rumble that gets even louder when you stomp on it.

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

LM1s with an O/R X is a Wet Fart

I too would like to hear an all Bassani set-up. All I am lacking is the muffs, but would love to hear before committing.

You have the Bassani catback, yes?

I was thinking of removing the magnaflow muffs and adding Bassani Universal Muffs... rather than doing a whole other catback. I assume there is a difference between the mufflers on the catback and the Univ Muffs?

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

I run a Bassanni Modular X pipe with cats, and a Bassanni Catback. I love the sound. Its nice and deep arount town, and has a very strong throaty sound at throttle. It also has a nice burble on decel with my foot off the gas. I have NEVER regretted my purchase. Ill TRY to get a vid of it this weekend if you can hold off till then. By Camaro buddy even likes the sound of it.

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

Bassani exhaust is a really good sound. I've heard some nice vids especially with some o/r x pipes. It would be too loud for me tho lol.

As I posted above to the OP, IF the weather is good, and IF I get the car back from the painter, I will get a vid for you this weekend of my car.

Hey, that would be great if you could but I understand about the weather thing and the painter. I cant even take any pics of my car bc I wont bring it out of the garage bc of the 3-4 feet of snow.

Re: Complete Bassani exhaust?

This video is from an 03 Cobra. It should give you an idea of what it will sound like on a Mach1. IMO what sounds good on a Cobra sounds better on a Mach1.
