Re: Bullitt Lovers Look here

I like the Bullitts and that is what I was going to buy back in '01-'02. The mach came along and I had to have it. Memories of my '69 mach 351C 4sp., it had a shaker too.
The new one is up to date on the creature comforts and isn't flashy with clean lines. I like that on the S197s.

I can't believe some people will actually pay close to 40k. I like the Bullitt but that's just crazy.

Re: Bullitt Lovers Look here

The ones I saw were all around $34k and with the X-plan about $31k. The actual Bullitt package is only a couple grand and I don't think you can max out a GT coupe over $35k....

Re: Bullitt Lovers Look here

Just got1 in today at Koones Springfield Va. Salesman said I can be out the door for under 32 but this was after many phone-dealings about trading the mach in for it which could have something to do with it. Got pretty far over the phone (16.5 for the mach was temptng) it's all paid and fun to drive for free!

Ford is ready to sell some nice cars, now's a good time to buy for sure

The Bullitt is nice, and I would definately drive one...however with the Shelby GT out there, there is no way in hell it demands an ADM!!!

I agree...There shoundt be a Market adjustment. If it was soo disirable it would have been bought before it came into dealer.. And this just tells me the new Mach1 with be 40+, that makes my Mach1 a great deal, I just wish they would have numbered ours...

$5,000 in Washington State. That's why I waited.

I got mine, brand new, at a $6000 discount in Oct. '03. That was the only way I could afford to buy it.

They are discount plans from Ford. X-plan is an Affiliate discount of usually around 10% off the sticker (I work for a company that buys tons of Ford vans for our fleet so I get the discount that way). A-plan is for Ford Employees, the D-plan (I believe) is Ford retirees and both are higher discounts than the X-plan. Saves haggling as it's under invoice pricing and you can still get all the rebates. Best used at the beginning of a model year or at 0% or other low financing events when dealers are less inclined to deal.

The dealer had mine marked up 2,000 over the asking price of the car when I bought it 2005 with 11,000 miles on it.

I am with you I have to pay interest due to my crappy credit but
I finance thru my own bank got my last car at 5.6 % for 60 months

But My 07 stickered for 29,400
I got x plan minus another 3900 in discounts

I got that car for about 24k plus tax
on the difference of my trade
