Home Theater Junkies
I upgraded my receiver last week, I am now running a Pioneer SC-61 and wow I am impressed so far. This got me thinking what are some of your favorite surround sound/home theater movies?
My favorite is "Master and Commander" there is some great multi-channel audio in the battle scenes. I also like... I am Legend (because deer hunting in a GT500 is cool) The Transformers Trilogy Gladiator Iron Man I&II Bad Boys II Super 8 What are some of your favorites that provide a great 5.1 or 7.1 experience?

Re: Home Theater Junkies
Pearl Harbor is a good movie to watch to test out your system.
Personal favorite is the fight scene in Troy with Achilles (Brad Pitt) and Hector (Eric Bana). Which speakers do you have? |

Klipsch Icons right now, towers in the front bookshelfs for the surrounds. Sub is a 12" Velodyne. Nothing real fancy but plenty for a small family room. How about you?

Re: Home Theater Junkies
I have 8" Tower Acoustech up front with the matching surround speakers mounted at the top of the wall straight behing the couch. Not the most expensive by no means but the best bang for your buck that ive ever had.
Also, look into some bass shakers. Absolutely amazing!!!! Lol |
