got the mach dynoed today

I was attending a car show and there was dyno there. I paid 75 bucks for 3 runs. This was the first time ever getting a mustang dynoed better yet a mach 1. It was not the dyno chasis. It was the one that they unbolt the wheels and attach it to there machines on each side. One of there portable ones that they take around alot. Not sure which one is better but just wanted to get it tuned. There was no Air fuel ratio so that sucked because I couldnt see what air fuel ratio I was at. Well I got 3 pulls and this was the outcome. Not to happy with it either so I hope it was off. 349 HP flywheel SAE corrected and 329 tourqe? so is that about 270 to the wheels and 329 tourqe to the wheels? I have posted the 2 sheets that I recieved from them. The only mods I have on the car are jegs off road h pipe, flowmaster 40 series, jlt cold air intake, FRPP aluminum drive shaft and thats it. The car is a 04 Mach 1 5 speed with 27k miles.

Re: got the mach dynoed today

Your Mach sure sounded good on that dyno. Torque looks decent, but rwhp did seem low. Kind of hard to believe that its peak hp was at 5400 when we redline at 6800?

It looked good and sounded good. It`s almost like they shut it down to early.

Re: got the mach dynoed today

Lots of dyno shops (at least here in NC) will shut it down early unless you sign a paper stating that if it blows its your nickel so to speak.

Re: got the mach dynoed today

If it was me,I would get it done by a professional tuner, that way he can make any adjustments while its on the dyno.Just reenforcing what was stated before

Re: got the mach dynoed today

I would take it up to Watertown, SD and let Andy tune it. Its about 185 miles away. He does a great job. Give him a call. http://www.dynotuneusa.com/
This weekend I read there is going to be a "drive-on" chassis dyno in Onawa, but still won't be able to get it tuned.
