It has been a long hard road getting it this far, with a LOT of obstacles in my way. Lots of help from Joe Charles, Roy, Al Papitto, M1M and others have helped get it this far.

Re: New Project "R" thread
Yeah, it is long.
Actually, it's part 2 of another, original thread! Part 1 Hopefully, interesting and somewhat informative. A lot of things were figured out along the way. Now I practically know where every nut, bolt and wire is on our cars though!

Re: New Project "R" thread
Reference for Florida titling of this car:
4. "Assembled from parts" means a motor vehicle or mobile home assembled from parts or combined from parts of motor vehicles or mobile homes, new or used. "Assembled from parts" does not mean a motor vehicle defined as a "rebuilt vehicle" in subparagraph 3., which has been declared a total loss pursuant to s. 319.30. Just an FYI

Re: New Project "R" thread
Stopped by the body shop today (took my buddy's 5.4 car),
and the engine bay, inner aprons, all painted and cleared. Looks good! Minor body imperfections are all handled. Should have it back completely painted by Friday! The car is VERY RED!

Re: New Project "R" thread
I've been watching this on and off for quite some time... looking forward to seeing the results.
You do realize that each of us deserve some seat time in it... so you'll need to take a cross country road trip to visit every member of this site so they can at the very least see it in person : )

Re: New Project "R" thread
Those who actually sweat putting it together get seat time.

I will have the car back Monday, painter is swamped with work,
so it will be painted on Saturday. Stopped again to see it today. In the sun, whatever is red, is VERY RED!

Re: New Project "R" thread
Finished my upper intake (finally. sigh.................)
Worked for months on it, on and off. Welding, grinding, welding grinding, a little JB .................................. Smoothed out the transitions from the TB to the plenum, increased plenum volume. Guess I'll see how well it works soon.
