Fun Ford Weekend Norwalk Ohio - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I was just wondering if anyone here was planning on going to this this year. It's July 8th and 9th. It would be neat if we could get a group of Mach's together like they do the Bullitts.

I am traveling to Norwalk with the GTAMC 22 cars from the Toronto area, with at least 6 Mach 1's
we paln to arrive July6
this is an annual cruise/convoy for the GTAMC

I'll probably be there, I grew up in that area and used to race there on wed or thur night when I was in High School. So count me in for one or two days unless something comes up.

I wish i could make it, but i leave for michigan on the 9th. Maybe i could just pack all my stuff and leave from ohio... i dont know, just thinking out loud. haha

I was up there Sat am and afternoon. Didn't enter my mach in anything. My friends brother was racing in the true street class so I hung out with him and went on the cruise with that group. I did see the HPP mach parked in the staging lanes. Colonel, I saw you but couldn't talk. I was in that group of true street racers blocking the return lane when you were driving through! $20 was a bit steep just to watch. I thought there would be more vendors etc.. Not even a Ford Racing vendor trailer there.

Norwalk was an awesome time. It was nice putting a face to a couple of the registry members.

Bill, how did you end up doing? I didn't get a chance to come back and talk to you anymore after Saturday morning. I ended up getting runner-up saturday night in Street Ford and then I went -.011 red first round in true street on Sunday. Still a good weekend though.

Man that sucks. Oh well, still a good weekend for ya. I watched a couple of your rounds and then when I lost I just loaded up and went home. You'll have to let me know the next time you come to Norwalk...maybe by then I'll be able to keep up with you :LAUGH: ok..maybe not..but it's a good thought.

Come on up to Norwalk Friday, August 18th. My friend's car club has a track rental that day. That same friend placed 8th in true street this past weekend, averaged 10.99. Did you happen to see that dude in the black/pink thong mowing his lawn during the true street cruise? It was a horrible sight to say the least.

I might have to put that date down on the schedule. Yeah, what was up with that old man? I couldn't believe it when we got close and it was a guy...me and my girlfriend thought it was some old lady that thought she still looked good...that is until we got close enough to realize it was a guy

Where were you guys in line for the cruise? I was just about dead center of the pack.

We were about 5th from the back. Red Mustang, can't miss it, LOL. If I lived next to that guy and he was out mowing like that I think I would be calling the cops.

They didn't have the same classes this year as they have in the past. They used a point system based on interior, exterior, trunk, chasis, and engine, and broke the cars up by the years in both modified and stock.

I won 1st place with my Mach1 for 2004+ modified pony car class.
