pacesetter
Anyone rocking pacesetter headers with the mid pipe? I know the black ones need to be coated, but curious to know about the performance/fitment compared to a pair of MAC's.

Re: pacesetter
the performance of the MACs. BBKs, Pacestters and flowtech's will all be the same. I can't offer any opinion or experience about fitment on the Pacesetters.

Re: pacesetter
What ever brand you get, make sure you get a 1 peice flange where it bolts to the head. I got MAC's a couple years ago and the front tube on the passenger side didn't line up with the top bolt hole, so the thread on the head is buggered up. I don't have any leaks yet, but I might be in trouble if I ever build the motor.

Re: pacesetter
I have pacestters and.....their pretty awesome for the price. They fit very very well, good sound and whoever said you cant remove the trans with these headers on, shouldnt be under a car. just gotta pull the the trans back, TURN it and the drop it (not literally)
Only bad thing about them is theres like 5 threaded holes in them. one for the EGR, two for the o2 sensors, and the other two... idk. maybe for a wideband or something. idk, but it didnt come with enough plugs so i had to use broken O2 sensors to plug the holes..lol

Re: pacesetter
so the transmission and k member didn't have to be removed during the installation? this was my main concern
I'm thinking about ordering the black painted long tubes and having them coated and baked in the oven
