Oem vs Aftermarket chin spoilers
I am hoping since these cars have been around the block, a lot of you have had to replace this part at least once. I recently purchased a Ford wiper cowl and was very pleased with it but the Oem spoiler is at best 200$ plus. I will cut this short and just ask if anyone has had any luck with the cheaper versions from LMR or AM over time ? Thanks

Re: Oem vs Aftermarket chin spoilers
I am on my 5th spoiler. Last two i purchased at 5.0 resto...got their Aftermarket one...it fits fine. i added a few additional attachment points due to the factory ones being a little wallowed out from previous spoilers.
protrudes a little into the wheelhouse, for the price its fine...I know i will need another eventually... Would recommend it

I bought the one from LMR in 2013. It's texture is very close to OEM. To make it fit the flush on either end of the wheel wells, you need to drill new holes to mount it. If you use the OEM holes, the ends will stick out in the wheel well. This was really easy though. I used painters tape to hold the spoiler in place while I marked the holes and when I mounted it. It allows you to move it enough to keep it flush with the front of the bumper. Earlier this year, I bought an OEM chin spoiler. I'll be honest, it really doesn't look much better, it's just mounted in the stock holes and is flush with the wheel wells. Now that I have an OEM chin again, I can say 100% the $60 LMR chin is a quality option.

Re: Oem vs Aftermarket chin spoilers
Did you change it three years later due to curb rash, wear and tear or did it warp and grey out as some aftermarket plastic do.

No, it still looked practically new actually. I was hell bent on getting an OEM spoiler lol.
