Mac TK9634

Has anybody used the TK9634 Mac 3" catback? I'm having a hell of a time getting things lined up properly. The main thing is it seems the factory muffler hangers put the mufflers and over the axle pipes up against the frame rails and upper control arms. The rubbers are stretched even with the body weight on the rear suspension. I'm getting rattling noises and I don't want strange noises just the exhaust bark is good for me. Any advise or personal experience with this please chime in.... I've already emailed Mac. This is a view of passenger side, car is backed up onto ramps.

Re: Mac TK9634

I don't have the 3" but I may be able to help you some. I have the TK8604 2.5" and I had the same issues with the over the axle pipes. What solved it for me was to loosen the pipes ahead of the mufflers and rotate those pipes slightly while pushing up on the mufflers to get them as high up as possible. Also make sure that you don't have those pipes on the wrong sides (left one on the right side and vice versa). Start with getting those mufflers up high and not hitting the rails and work your way back. It's gonna take you some time but it's worth it.
