Tapped into the accessory power lead. Don't need many amps to power the window switch or the low amp side of the relay. For the bottle heater relay, I tapped into the defroster power lead.

Using the MSD Digital and no converter is required.

Re: MSD Digital Window Switch/Nitrous wiring setup

I finally got it. The only problem I have now is that my bottle warmer is hooked up with the window switch and only comes on between 3000-6500 rpms. haha I bought another relay that I will use for the bottle warmer. I'll run it tomorrow. Thanks for the help fellas!

Ok i ran everything just like this drawing except i put the wot switch in line with the window switch like the other drawing in this thread (the dry kit) what i don't understand is how if the fuel, window switch and the wot switch are not happy what is going to stop the the noids from not working? it seems like they would still come on.

so the wire from the relay that goes to the window switch, the fuel pressure switch and wot switch have to be on for the wire from the relay that goes the noids to come on? did that make sense?

If I hook the white wire to one of the coil packs, Do I use the common "red" wire , or do I use the other wire which is a differant color for each coil pack?

And

After hooking up the white wire to the coil pack, Do I set up the MSD WS for 1 or 8 cyl mode?

Thanks

I figured it out, You hook the white wire to one of the smaller "colored" wires going to a coil pack.

The red wire that runs to each coil pack is the 12v+ wire. So that would be a nono for the MSD WS.

Also I then set it up for 1 cylender mode.

Re: MSD Digital Window Switch/Nitrous wiring setup

If anyone is still looking at this? If I'm running one relay for the NMU and MSD Window switch, the yellow wire off the MSD, I can run that to the ground side of the relay? I think that is right, anyone want to correct me or verify? Thanks!

Re: MSD Digital Window Switch/Nitrous wiring setup

Thank god for this sticky. I just got done wiring up my kit and this was a huge help with all of the diagrams and everything. The only thing I did different is that I used an MSD GMR pickup for the tac signal instead of dealing with pin 12 or whatever it was. No splicing required just hook it up to one of the wires on the coil and you are done. I recommend it. It works great.

Re: MSD Digital Window Switch/Nitrous wiring setup

Im assuming the coil wire you guys are splicing into is for the rpm wire right? Anyone happen to have a picture of what wire was spliced into? This is the last thing needed for my install.

do you have the msd digital window switch?

so you just used that MSD GMR and didnt need a tach adapter?

i am having a problem with mine it reads fine up to 4k rpms and then goes to 0. i think i may need a tach adpater or this?

Re: MSD Digital Window Switch/Nitrous wiring setup

So what's the deal? Nx tells me with their window switch I need a tach adapter. Do you not need one with the msd switch? I'm having second thoughts on the nx switch the msd ones looks a bit nicer
