The overall package is incredible! Some of the color combos, which might have worked fine back in 1969 and 1970, look kinda tacky, to be polite.

I agree, the color combos are like the 1969 Trans Am race teams wore. The street versions were much more sedate and the 1970 Trans Am race Boss 302's looked almost like street vehicles. That would be more to my liking.

Yup. I feel the same way. The orange with black looked pretty good, but some of the other combos look too cartoonish in their combinations. No denying that they will definitely stand out though.

There are a few people on here who've expressed an interest in a Yellow Blaze Boss, and it reminds me of some of the Tri-Color Metallics that Ford has used on the F-150 Platinum and Mark LT trucks. Oddly, it's not shown in the 2011 Mustang brochure even though it was announced as being an available color. Might be a Boss only color.

That's more than a GT500. I think it will be in the low 40's at most and I think that is high.

Maybe they're considered it a "Speciality Vehicle" while the GT-500 is a regular production vehicle now. Isn't the new GT-350 that way also, i.e. more expensive?

I would think for the extra $20K or so, you could do a lot to your regular production new 5.0 Mustang to make it look and handle "Boss" like.

If it's going to truly be a low production vehicle, we'll probably see very few on the streets as the collectors will put them away. That's one thing higher production numbers do, you see more driven than put away.

Not much of a yellow. More copper tinted. Wouldn't interest me at all.

I must be the only person here who thinks the roof treatment is horrific, especially in red. If I wanted a blue car with a white roof I could have bought a Mini a long time ago.

The ones with the glass roof look pretty good.

I'm not a fan of the colored roofs. Glass roof would be better.

I agree 1000%! The color treatments were never offered on a '69-70 BOSS 302. I think they make this new one look cheap. Yeah, the car seems to be the real deal but why screw it up with the junky paint treatments. Black with black or paint treatment delete. I'm surprised no one else has asked this but what do you think Larry Shinoda would say???

Not on the road cars, but on the Trans Am racers run by Shelby and Bud Moore you'd see similar schemes.
