Re: Official Nitrous HP/TQ/mods thread

Thinking about it.... Need make that decision soon! I am building a big bore stroker wanted to stay N/A But man this is hard! Thought nitrous was the way to go but seems so restictive with the setup.... so just wondering what is a god setup? Looked at nitrous outlet with the Mach1 plate setup they have... any thoughts?

I've got what's arguably the best system there is for sale. NX wet kit and NX genx -2 accessory kit with an MSD digital window switch. Was partially installed on an 03 cobra but the car never ran and the bottle was never filled. Essentially brand new. I've also got a brand new in box SVT focus pump (drop in, no modifications necessary), 1/2" and 3/4" braided wire wrap to go over the lines and fittings. Also have two new sets of NGK br6ef plugs (same heat range as the tr6 but with a non projected tip for even more safety). Basically everything to do a top of line setup, correctly, the first time. Pm me if you think you may want it. This is not a cheap, half way done system that's going to hit soft and give you problems. It's the real deal.

Btw- there's no reason at all for a plate setup if you're not going to spray an enormous shot. A nozzle is plenty adequate. Especially the shark nozzle that my system has.

I'm also in North Texas if you wanted to see the system and/or do a deal in person.

I have the same EXACT same set up. Not cheap by any means but in my opinion the best single nozzle kit out there. Real deal for sure, no disappointments here.

Re: Official Nitrous HP/TQ/mods thread

For you Zex users, does it rate to the flywheel to wheels? So If I were to run a 125 or 150 shot would it be 125 crank hp or 125 wheel hp? Debating on which Jet to run and get it tuned on.

NX = WHP

waiting on pistons, they have a long lead time because of the start of the race season. Ordered them about a month ago but I told them I was in no hurry because I knew they had others that wanted to get to the track. Hopefully within a month or so I will be back on the road.

Oh, I will be adding pics to my build log as I go.

So a 150 shot on a zex kit is similar to a 125whp NX kit?

Re: Official Nitrous HP/TQ/mods thread

I'm finally buttoning my car up. I'm working with Cody at Stang-Hi for my tuning these days so i wont have dyno numbers. I've got the Nitrous outlet plate on, looks so much nicer than he old nitrous express nozzle kit i ran before. Did have to cut a shaker bracket and weld a piece in to extend it given the space created by the plate but it wasnt a big deal really. Excited to finally have it about ready, i will be spraying a small shot and data logging at first then hitting the 100. I've now got a 3700 stall converter and 4.10's. I'm blowing off ET Street R's on the street on motor right now. I know its gonna be fun if i can get the power down though. I will say its a little tough when bottle fills are about $50 now though.
