Farewell Macher's

In about an hour I am going to pick up my trade. I traded the Mach for an 06 chebby supercrew diesel. Didn't have much choice as I am starting my own business and need the truck.

I will still frequent and hope to replace the beast one day .

Good luck with the new business. Hate to see the Mach go but you have your priorities in order. Check in from time to time and let us know how it is going.

Good luck! Oh, and good luck finding your "06 chebby supercrew diesel" registry! Chevy? What did you do, feel sorry for them? The Ford runs circles around those trucks, in both performance and style.

GM must be giving them away to keep up with the Powerstrokes.

Not sure about the Ford's performance. I originally looked for a Ford and was not able to get a good price on the truck or a trade in worth a crap.

With Chevy'sy red tag the truck was down to $31,537 with a sticker of over $43. I got $20250 for the trade and I was happy. It has 330hp and 650 lb-ft. of torque @ 1600 RPM. The powerstroke is rated at 325hp @ 3300rpm and 570 lb-t. @ 2000rpm. In either case the power of both trucks would have done the job for what I am doing. It bassically boiled down to Ford only lowering their $42k truck price by $3k and only offering $16k for my trade.
