Re: How to: LED gauge install (white like stock, not blue)

I'm glad people are still getting use from this.

Re: How to: LED gauge install (white like stock, not blue)

this is definitely going on the to-do list, was thinking about it the other day, with my aftermarket gauges the stock stuff looks extra dingy.

anyone done the climate control etc...?

How to: LED gauge install (white like stock, not blue)

I'm on my third set of LEDs lol. I'm looking for a brand that has a soft white (or warm white) or roughly 4K etc bulb that is bright enough. It seems like the only ones that are bright enough put out that blue-ish color. To me, sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't.

^This is 5k (I think). Anybody have a certain brand they had any luck with that put out brighter light than incandescent bulbs and still had a white look?

Re: How to: LED gauge install (white like stock, not blue)

ok so Im going to try 5 of the 74-WWHP3 in warm white (3300k)- https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-car/228/1068/

can someone please clarify on the lights for the AC controls? I keep seeing WLED-x5 but Im not sure which ones. Is it these 194 mini wedge 5leds? part 194-x5-CAR?

Re: How to: LED gauge install (white like stock, not blue)

I haven't changed the console controls yet but I am pretty sure they are standard wedge 194s.

Recently went from the green to warm white. The green washes out the red parts of the cluster and got annoying. The warm white is as stated close to the stock look. I like it a lot better but doesn't match the center console. The Mach is never done.
