Window clunk

On my 03 Mach1, three times I have had the dealer fix a clunk caused by the driver's side window when it hits the bottom of its track. They said a 'stop' came loose. Well it did it again and I hate to waste time taking it back to a dealer if the fix is simple. Anyone else ever have this problem and/or a solution? Thanks

Re: Window clunk

I had the same thing and the dealer fixed it about two months ago. So far - so good.

Re: Window clunk

to help prevent this from happening again to my car, i don't allow the window to drop down all the way. i stop the action with the power switch when the window is at least an inch from the door frame.

Re: Window clunk

Thanks, Ed. I've been doing that but sometimes its a little bit of a hassle. I'd like to disable the auto-down feature sometimes.
