Interesting Note.......

Just brought my Mach in for 10K service and on the Ford service receipt has "Production Date" box and in there it says 11/04/02 which was Monday of 03 Job#1 startup week.

I know my car came off the line Thursday 11/07 and is first torch red one produced (2nd overall) now I have a little more paperwork backup.

Just curious if any others owners have a "Production Date" section on their Ford dealer service receipts??

PS - Also calls it a "GT"

I don't want to ruffle your feathers, but how do you know it's the second off the line? There are at least four other red Machs built that day, and some of them have lower unit numbers. Of course we all remember that the unit number had no effect on the build sequence...

Mine has a lower VIN #, but it was the 16th Mach 1 built. It also was produced on the same day. We know things...

The Mach 1 is called a GT because it shares the same body code with a regular GT (P42).
