Re: Carlisle All Ford nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet June 6-8, 2008

It;s about 12-13 miles from the hotel to the fairgrounds, depending the way your go. Takes about 15-20 mins (approx.) Depending on traffic. The route I posted is about the easiest.

Hooters - Thursday Night around 6-6:30pm
6035 Carlisle Pike,
Mechanicsburg, PA
(717) 791-9464

MAP:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=l&hl=e...7,0.11673&z=13

You can go the Same way to the show route, just get off on Rt11 (Carlisle Pike Road).

Id get killed in the clean department anyways . My car needs a lot of touch-up items to really make it show ready . Not totally into all that . Now SparksMach1 is about the cleanest Mach ive ever seen . Its cleaner then mine when i bought it off the trailer . Really is a nice piece . I plan on cruisn the old stangs , something about those cars , havnt figured it out yet ?

Im there just to hang and shoot da shiat . It does not matter if i win or lose . I want to see 50 Machs in one area is what i really want . Now thats picture for sure . I know Haeg has a nice camera with photo skills . How could you get high enough to shoot a panoramic view ?

Well, we're getting T-storms right now so hopefully that will be the end of the R word for the week.

Dave, I haven't been over on the west shore for a few months but according to the paper they changed the 15 to 581 interchange. Instead of the insanely short (and deadly) ramp we will make a left hand turn via a redlight to get on 581 west.

Well it’s that time of the year for me again. I'm getting ready to head out the door and my next post will be from Carlisle. I like to get there a day early, avoid the traffic, check out the Hershey Auto Museum, and be relaxing out by the pool when the rest of crowd starts arriving tomorrow, Friday, and the weekend.

You guys play nice, be safe and I‘ll see you there.

Re: Carlisle All Ford nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet June 6-8, 2008

Thursday and Friday usually aren't too bad. Spaces are pretty open.
Sat. is the busiest....

Also, I invited MRT (Scott, Kim and a couple others) to the BBQ on Friday. I figured you guys would like to meet and greet Scott and company for those that have not met him and those that would like to talk to him.

Also, MRT will be installing Products on the showfield for FREE if purchased from them. (Hood Struts, etc...) They will be Sharing the CDC Vendor Space. They should be in the 1st or 2nd vendor row behind our tent on the Show Field. I think. That is where they normally are.

Premium in the Carlisle area will probably run around $4.25/ gallon.
