Update on my DSG Mach 1
Been awhile since I’ve posted so figured I give an update on the Mach,installed a Roy’s ported mani and TB,also a rad cover I put a mach decal on..I also picked up some 99/01 cobra tail lights and blacked out the trunk panel..An AEM wideband also went in so we can get the tune dialed and shoot for my 11 at the track stay tuned..
Car has longtubes/full exhaust,Roy’s mani/ported tb,march dampener/WP pulley,JLT intake/c&l maf,98 cobra cams,7/8” spacer,HC mod,t45source trans/mgw,mcleod,430s,tubular k,coilovers,adj control arms,cc plates,bilsteins,alum ds,173k daily driver.. Last edited by SIC9250; 11-24-2017 at 02:40 AM. |

Yeah. That's my experience. Had to take a beautiful set of ceramic coated longtubes and a 2 catalytic converter mid off my Mach 1 to pass smog when I brought it in from Nevada. Went with ported stock manifolds and 4 cat BBK pipe. I still cry a little when I see the headers sitting in a box in the shop
Guessing he removes them every 2 years |

^ not at all,you couldn’t pay me to swap them every 2 years..gotta pay to play in Cali with modified cars,I won’t let this sorry state and it’s smog nazi’s ruin my passion for hotrods
