Hello there - I most likely will be there by sometime around 7:00am. I am hoping that folks will be meeting face-to-face at the police station right next the city hall building at 10:00am.

I am not certain what time other folks plan to arrive, but I will definitely be at the meeting spot at 10:00am.

Thanks!

Yes that is what we are planning on doing. I counted the Machs that are registered and I came up with 11. So it should not be hard to find all of us.

The best way to park with all of the Mach owners is to stage and enter together. That is per the information shared on the Mustang Alley website under the "Feature Mustang" menu.

If we would like to do this, I recommend meeting about 1 block before the entrance at Hilton and 9 Mile Road, just to the north of 9 Mile, at around 6:45am. Otherwise, you will be parked somewhere in the section where the 2000 and up Mustangs will be.

Copied from the site -
Quote:
Arrival Information

* Arrival times for show cars is between 6:00 am and 8:00 am.

* There is no rush since loading Mustang Alley is not based on first come, first entry.

* There are seven parking sections:
1. 2000’s and up load first.
2. 1990’s load
3. 1980’s load
4. 1970’s load
5. 1960’s load
6. The Snake Pit will load as they come.
7. Nine Mile between Paxton and Burdette is Open Mustang Parking (Clubs, Early exits, etc.)
* 2000’s thru 1980’s should plan to get to the Alley entrance early in arrival time as possible.

* We will be staging groups along Nine mile if front of the CVS and loading the Alley in approximate groups of ten at a time.

* Check-in will occur as we stage the groups.

* The $20 fee will be collected at check-in and goodie bags handed out.

* You will need to stay with your car until we’ve finished loading the Alley so we can adjust the line-up as necessary while cars continue to load.

* We must keep the decades in place for the day due to venue set-up and limited exit capability (except in the case of an emergency)

Be careful! Perhaps you would consider staying overnight in Troy at this hotel. A few folks and me are staying there.

PS - I've been to Ft. Wayne a number of times, occasionally during the Three Rivers Fesitval.

The wife and i have a hotel booked for Saturday night. I just cant make it up any sooner than saturday morning because of work. One of our other mechanics is on vacation and i have to cover his shift and part of my shift. Thats one thing about working for UPS, the trucks have to run unless they are not safe. I keep them safe and sound. I will probably take you guys up on the coffee offer

Re: Mustang Alley (Woodward Dream Cruise) registration now open!

What a turnout!! They had I think almost 500 Mustangs! I think we only had 5-6 Mach's that I could find, it was about 80 Degrees and sunny with a slight breeze, pics to follow, once I get them resized and uploaded into the gallery.

Thanks to all that went, Sorry if I didn't find you or talk to you, we were busy walking around, watching all the interesting cars on Woodward crusing.

Friday night, took us 1 hour and 15mins to go 2 miles!!! It was that packed on Woodward!

They had the Camo covered 2010 Mustang, didn't get to see anything but the bottom of it, (Up on a rotisory) basically the same as the 2005, but supposedly, all body panels have been changed out...larger base tires for the V6 (17"-18"), GT 18"-19"...
