He freakin' died? WHAT? My parents and I were just talking about him last weekend. My dad calls my 7 yr old Evil Knievel ever since he tried to ride a cardboard box down the stairs. What a bummer. Arrogant but entertaining guy. I remember he was the sh*t when I was a little kid.

Dam howed he die? He lives around here in Plantation Florida. my buddy pulled him over one night took a couple of pictures with him and got his autograph. Either he was really nice or didn't want a ticket. Oh well I guess crazy Robbie will take over for now.

He drank WAY too much according to people I have talked with who actually knew him. Also not a very nice fellow, again according to someone I know who knew him and whom Evel threatened to sue many times. He was brave as hell though. I loved him as a kid and had his action figure and launcher.

I remember him being on ABC's Wide World Of Sports on saturday afternoons When they had him on Iwas glued to the TV...And I had his action figure and motorcycle from Ideal.

Sad news though. I had his stunt motorcycle and action figure when I was a kid...you know, the one where you pulled the plastic toothed whip through it to make it go. That thing rocked!

My Dad took me to see one of his jumps inside a bldg. In Cleveland when I was a kid! The Convocation Center is an indoor place where the Autorama is held every year!
