Degree labor costs
What is a reasonable price to pay for having intake cams degree'd if I already have the valve covers removed and tow the car to them? I just had knee surgery last month and I don't think I am up to doing the job right now myself. I might just wait a couple months until I am healed though and do it myself. Depends on how much it costs.

Re: Degree labor costs
For all four cams are just the two intake cams? I'm not paying $800 for something I can do myself in a couple months. The reason for asking is that I was planning on swapping out my intake cams for '96 cobra cams here soon.

Re: Degree labor costs
Supposedly you don't have to remove the timing cover and all the accessories if you are just degree'ing the intake cams. So probably around $400 for just the intake cams. Guess I will have to talk to a couple of the local shops and see.

Re: Degree labor costs
I've heard it's a complete nightmare from several people so I'm not looking forward to it either way. It's easy enough on the 2v's though. Just takes time.

Re: Degree labor costs
It should take no more than 3 hours if the VCs are already removed.
