Re: Any good places around Rockville, MD
I watched Chris tune a car when I was there getting my headers installed. He dialed in a safe and high HP tune. He knows what he is doing with SCT products.

Excessive does great work, I had my car tuned NA there and i'll have it tuned again for my eaton setup as soon as I get some free time. Chris knows his stuff for sure.

Re: Any good places around Rockville, MD
I'm surprised no one mentioned Springfield Motorsports in Lorton, VA. Since the new ownership took over (so long John) they seem to have their act tight. (Prices still steep though) Hey, Recently when I picked up a NEW cobra tank on e-bay (and got the pumps an all in the deal), I take it to them and tell Wheat to tune to the edge of the safe limit. I now have 489 rear HP and 433 TQ. Said he had it dialed to 500 hp on the first pull and dialed down quick. Now, you HAVE to know something about the Mach motor and it's shortcomings (high compression) when blown in order to put a Vortech on one.
If anyone was steered wrong by Springfield in the past, well then you have the justification to not like them. Me? Have had them do 98% of my mods and I keep coming back.

Re: Any good places around Rockville, MD
Well I guess that just works out then, I spent 550 out the door the first time. 300 for the flip chip and 250 for the tune.
