Where is the Ashtray? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Since I do not smoke it didn't dawn on me until the other day that my Mach 1 has a Cig. lighter but no ashtray. Should it have the same cupholder ashtray my 99 GT had? Need a place to put my change.

I took the old one out of my 2000 Mustang when I traded it in. Full of quarters as we speak.

On most Ford products you can order the smoker's package that includes the cig lighter and an ashtray for the forward cup holder. I think it's still available through Ford directly.

You can buy just the ash tray insert (aka spare coin holder insert) too.

I also hijacked my ashtray from my trade in, and then purchased a silver anodized "EJECT" cigarette lighter from MGW. It's my favorite accessory. http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_lighter.html

They didnt want to take any risk thats why there isnt any. They wanted to make sure that smoking is not allowed inside the Mach. its for theire peace of mind thats all.

Mine didn't come with a cig lighter...just a plastic plug with 12V on it.

Do a search on eBay for the name Mach1Fun. Jon can sell ya the ash cups and other stuff like that, and he takes paypal. That is who I got mine from. Great service, great prices, FAST delivery. Tell him IMachU sent ya. No extra discount, and I get nothin, but he'll know you got the info from the Registry.

And they all come from the factory with the little 12V cheap plastic plug in both the armrest and center console.
