Hello from overseas
Hi,
I joined the forum in 2014 when I already had a 2003 GT DSG... http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/....php?p=1629005 ...and I was looking for a '03 or '04 Mach I. Thanks to this forum I found the right Mach I for me: a 2003 DSG with 9K I bought earlier this year from a forum member, johnski. It took me several months to have it legally authorized for Europe but it's now done and I'm very happy to be an official Mach I owner. This Mustang is fantastic! Thanks for this forum which helped a lot! |

Re: Hello from overseas
You're right, she is almost stock. I will make a few reversible changes which will keep me busy.
She has the Cobra tail lights to comply w/ the local need of amber turn signals Some minor cosmetics changes already done: - Mach 1 billet fuel door (Dupont Performance) - Cobra Jet shaker emblems - Mach 1 floor mats (Alterum) - Genuine mechanical Pony emblem - AFS 17 x 9 rims (slightly larger than stock, I had them from my GT) with Custom wheel caps (pony without tribar) Todo: - Mach 1 door still plates - Brushed black bumpers insert letters - Engine compartment billet caps dress-up - Install the Visus louver and the DSG cobra foldable mirrors I removed from my GT (I had to buy a 94-04 Mustang MRT Replacement Louver Hardware Kit) - Install a rear black billet license plate grille to make the local plate look less... squarish - Install a front bracket plate holder from ccmustangbrackets to accomodate with the local wider front plates - Brake calipers in red and black - Install an electric radio antenna and the Mach 460 aux input FRDN-AUX - Upgrade the front and rear tweeters hp with Powerbass S275-CH (in the stock housing) - Some parking cameras (the ones with the "bird view" of the car) She came with Flowmaster exhaust which had a little droning at 70mph - fixed now thanks to short 2 disks Carchemistry inserts. She sounds awsome. And an engine upgrade to come: - 30 lbs./hr. injectors upgrade - eFlexFuel E85 adapter (built in Finland, which is installed on many Mustangs in Europe considering E85 is half the price of gas) - SCT X4 reprog to accomodate the injectors changes and be able to run the Mach at top performance wether she runs on E85, premium, or a mix. I also have a Ford Performance aluminium driveshaft I keep for installing at next oil change. Last edited by ge999; 12-05-2017 at 02:48 AM. |
