Your brake manifold of yours . Im interested in dropping that weight block .
My question is this . Im running the SSBC Big Brake kits on the front as you know . I dropped the rear big brake kits and im now running the FRPP Anniversary set with the Powerslot turbo rotors . I like driving the car on the street and having my ABS brakes as well . I read your entire thread so im wondering if i install this with your manifold block will it keep it the same as i have now , and if so where and how should i mount it ? Meaning right next to your block ?

I havnt seen another build like yours anywhere ? I do mean anywhere .

Gitr done , so we can all see it .

If you're gonna do away with the ABS, the Proportioning Valve will help, but the one you posted doesn't have 4 channels. It has two for the front and only one channel for the rear.

Try just the abs delete block. You WILL be amazed at the better feel.
Couldnt i put a tee in or machine another channel for rear ?

You tell me im totally lost , even after reading that whole **** thread .

Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Heads were finished last week with stage 2 Crower Cams, springs & titanium retainers. Fox lake CNC stage 3 port, valve/seat angle job, bronze valve guides, machined tips of valves & factory rollor followers since valves have been slightly sunk in seats. Full Torque aluminum anodized spark plug threaded inserts (9 threads). Replaced all exhaust valves with Manley stainless valves. Cam caps clearanced for cam lobes.

The block has been bored utilizing torque plates for final honing to 3.556", basically .005" over factory. Head chamber has been molded for piston profile for JE Pistons to start machining a custom set of domed forged nitrous pistons. Tops will be thermal coated & skirts teflon coated. Total Seal zero gap 1.5mm stainless steel top ring. 1.5mm ductile iron napier and 3.0mm high tension oil rings. The top ring land on pistons will be at least .275" thick.

Here are pics of the finished heads:

Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Looks great Phil . I looked into Fox Lake for my heads but their flow numbers were not as high as Livernois . Did you happen to flow them to see what number your at ? Also did you oversize your intake and exhaust valves ?

Did you do the assembly yourself ?

Thanks

Bill,

I'll have to ask Jeff what they flowed at. I really don't know if they actually flow tested my heads or not? Fox Lake did the assembly of the complete heads/cams. Factory valves are used.

Thanks Phil !

Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Just found out the custom forged domed pistons being machined from JE are costing $1130.. This does not include the thermal top coating or the skirt teflon coatings that will also be done at JE.

The heads were flow tested by Fox Lake. Jeff C. sent me the numbers on my heads with factory size valves.

Intake valve:

Test Pressure = 28" for both Int & Exh valves

.100" flow cfm 102
.200" flow cfm 190
.300" flow cfm 263
.400" flow cfm 313
.450" flow cfm 325
.500" flow cfm 330
.550" flow cfm 335

Exhaust valve:

.100" flow cfm 89
.200" flow cfm 151
.300" flow cfm 212
.400" flow cfm 239
.450" flow cfm 249
.500" flow cfm 256
.550" flow cfm 262 with pipe

I will be at the means of 325/330 cfm intake flow with Crower Int. cam of .473
lift and means of 249/256 with the cfm exhaust flow at .472 lift.
