Can i seperate the scoop from the plastic?

i just got a new job at a powder coating buisiness so i really want to take care of my faded black scoop once and for all
i want to know if i can take off the plastic/rubber piece surrounding the metal scoop and not hurt anything. i dont know if its held on my adhesive or..?

Its held together with hex bolts. So yes you can.

What did they charge you to powdercoat it? Mine needs it badly. I'm tempted to have it hydrodipped with carbon fiber though.

I did it under the table cause I work there so it was free to me. I'd have to assume we would charge 40-60 bucks? But I really have no clue
